WeChat Keyboard

WeChat Keyboard is Tencent's official keyboard app for Android devices, featuring six different typing methods, including the ability to type with alphanumeric characters or Chinese characters. When writing with the latter, you can use the lower region of the screen to trace the characters using the fingertip, in a very comfortable way.

An easy-to-configure keyboard

The only thing you will have to do to start using WeChat Keyboard is to grant it the corresponding permissions (something totally usual in keyboard apps) and select it as the default keyboard. This way, the first time you go to write, you will be able to choose the writing method you want to use. Switching between them is as easy as clicking the green button in the upper left corner of the interface. From there you will be able to select any other method very quickly.

Fixed or floating keyboard

A very interesting feature of WeChat Input Method is that you can choose whether you want to have the keyboard fixed, anchored at the bottom of the screen, or if you prefer to have it floating, being able to move it freely around the screen. This second option is often useful to use while playing video games, as it will allow you to see most of the action and will not interrupt the game as much. It is also very useful for typing while you are playing a video, as it will not change the aspect ratio.

Real-time grammar correction

Another interesting feature of WeChat Keyboard is its real-time grammar error correction tool. Thanks to this feature, you will be able to be writing in any conversation on WeChat, without the fear of making any typing mistakes. In addition, you can copy words and phrases so that you always have them in the clipboard and can quickly paste them whenever you want. This way you can have your most common answers ready and write them down with a single touch.
